IN-SITU PIPE LINING
SOLEWANT GROUP provides application of site based specialist liquid lining systems to the oil, gas water and power pipelines. Performed in-situ, pipeline segments as long as 25 kilometers can be cleaned and internally lined in an operation whereby only access to the ends of the pipeline segment is required. In-Situ Pipelining is applied to stop further corrosion and allows for the cost effective rehabilitation of existing (or new) pipelines exposed to high rates of corrosion, thereby considerably extending its service life. The cleaning process of the internal pipe surface is executed using specially designed cleaning/scraper pigs, specialized chemicals and other proprietary tools and materials.
Next, we apply a-multi layered, thin film high performance epoxy lining to the internal surface, which provides the chemical resistance and forms an extremely durable barrier to even the most corrosive service media at high temperatures that can be found in the industry.
