SOLEWANT provides cathodic protection services to complement our pipeline protection concept. This is the anti-corrosion concept based on the global integrity of pipelines. The cathodic protection services also supplement the "passive" protection offered by existing coating systems with an excellent "active" pipeline protection.
We provide cathodic protection service by maintaining the flow of electrons from externally placed Anodes (+ve) through electrolyte (soil, water, concrete, etc.) into the surface of structure being protected, making it as cathode of electrochemical cell. Cathodic protection removes the root cause of corrosion and stops it permanently to achieve our end-to-end pipeline/facility protection. Our integrated cathodic protection department provides expertise and carries out on-site investigations through corrosion diagnostics, feasibility studies, studies on the influence of drain currents and the resolution of corrosion problems.
